Before and Afters

Old sewing machine table turned into accent table.

Rebeca's dining room table

Rebeca was given this dining room table that was her Great Grandma's. It had shown the many memories that were created on it with scratches, dings, and a broken table base. So I was given the task to save this family treasure. It took many hours of sanding, staining, and painting, but the outcome was well worth it. The top was stained to match her kitchen cabinets and the chairs along with the new bulky legs were painted in a rich black lacquer. This table set will have many more years of memories and stories to tell.

Before...

Found these table legs off an older table...

Mounting the new legs...

After many hours of sanding an old Veneer finish off, the table needed a good conditioning...

A few coats of staining and many coats of polyurethane..

After...

This desk needed a lot of TLC. It had a horrible paint job on it with visible drip marks, brush strokes, and chipping paint. With many hours of sanding, priming, and fighting mother nature with the wind, I painted it black and added cute pearl embellishments. Then to create a vanity I found a mirror and mounted it to the back and added new crystal hardware to the drawers.

This poor dresser had seen better days. The wood was all scratched up and drawers were broken with missing hardware. I couldn't pass it up though. I saw the potential. This dresser was customized to a little girl who rides horses. I was so excited to use my creativity on this one.

With many hours of sanding, conditioning the wood, and staining, it turned into this beautiful piece. I finished it with rope knobs, spurs, and horseshoes for this little cowgirl.

So found this children's card table. The kids obviously had fun painting on it but I had other plans

So I redid the vinyl on top and reupholstered the chairs.
Perfect for the playroom.

This old desk was pretty bet up with a few different coats of paint underneath. This one was chosen to be in the 2012 parade of homes. So once again, got out the sander.
Paint, glaze, and distressing

                                                               Great little office desk!
I found this table and fell in love with the claw legs. The paint was chipping off, and the top was not in the greatest condition.

I tried to work with the top but ended up creating a new one. Then stained it this beautiful dark color to match the cabinets in the kitchen it was going in.

Painted, and glazed the base. See the claw feet, love them! This also was in the 2012 Parade of homes.

Picked these nightstands up in San Diego. They were so cute, I loved all the curves, However someone had sprayed them with black lacquer and had drip marks all over.

These took a lot of sanding
Painted red with a black top

Oh how I love the look of glazing. It really pops out the details in the furniture.

Yes, once again this piece found its way into the parade of homes

My lovely Aunt June bought this cute chair but the base needed some new paint.
After sanding I gave it a fresh new look with black paint and a shiny lacquer finish

I had a few of these mirrors so I decided to distress one, and for the other two make them unique by adding embellishments and butterflies.
